GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

We can on request ship outside of South Africa, additional shipping charges will apply.

Most items are first despatched from our Cybertrek USA warehouse to our South African Midrand office but some products are sourced locally or from various other international destinations.
In general items are in stock at our various local and international warehouses, but please allow approximately 7-10 working days for local delivery as most of the items on our website are sourced overseas.

We mainly sell to private individuals and we can ship to companies but currently we do NOT offer V.A.T invoices

We do NOT submit company quotes or have a company account service and all orders must be done online via our website.

DELIVERY

We are an internet based business and we do Not offer C.O.D. collections.

We only process your order once payment or a deposit has been confirmed.


Processing of orders paid for by cheque will only begin processing once the funds have been confirmed as cleared funds by our bank and this could delay the delivery of your order by up to 10 days.

Payments sent via EFT are processed as soon as we receive confirmation from your bank
In most cases  we will accept a non refundable deposit to start processing your order. The full balance must be paid within 7 days of the item arriving. If full payment is not received within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-sell the item and you will forfeit the deposit.
Local delivery is between 7 - 10 days (excluding holidays, religious holidays and weekends) on most items depending on shipping, customs and any other unforseen delays.

Delivery is standard  to door or post office, depending on your selection during checkout.

High value items will not be shipped to post office. If you are in a remote area you can collect from the nearest courier depot.
Shipping insurance can be cancelled at your own risk.
We will not be held liable for any missing items or parcels if shipping insurance is not selected.

If a parcel goes missing on route to (either on the way to us or after is has been sent to you), we first have to follow the shippers claim policy before any refund or replacement item can be processed.
Ownership of the goods is passed onto the buyer as soon as the item leaves our premises and any risks involved with delivery is passed onto the buyer.
An additional Insurance option is included with all deliveries but is optional and can be removed at your risk.

Unforseen shipping delays can occur due to various reasons. Our delivery timeline is a guide only and we dont refund purchases for delayed delivery due to any reason. December is a very busy time for couriers and customs and various delivery delays may happen during this month.

Returns, Cancellations

Returns, Refunds and Repairs

You may return an order of any standard item within 7 days of delivery.

All canceled and returned orders within 7 days have a restocking fee of 15% of the total price.

Items returned after 7 days and up to 30 days will be accepted upon consideration on a case by case review only and will have a restocking fee of 25% as we can no longer resell these as new. Under no circumstance will we accept items for return after 30 days from delivery.


Any returns must be in the original sealed and unopened box.
Any opened boxes or items that appear to have been used will not be accepted for returns.

 

If your package arrives damaged you may refuse delivery at no cost to you. Please Contact us immediately if this happens.

 

Shipping costs are not refundable.

Refund will be in the form of store credit only.

 

Special request orders, and specialised items will not be refunded under any circumstance.

As per the ECA act 2002 chapter VII section 43 paragragh 4 (b) we do Not refund the shipping fee, including the cost of importing and the cost of returning the item to our supplier. The shipping fee includes any applicable import duties and taxes paid.


Laptop screens.

Laptop replacement screens are special order products and can not be returned under any circumstance. Please ensure you purchase the correct screen. Please contact us prior to placing an order if you are not sure which screen to purchase.

Warranty & Repairs

Most items have at least a one year warranty.
Our products are imported and any warranties are held by the respective overseas companies.

Certain items may have an international warranty and any warranty issues can be dealt directly with the companies involved.

We do assist with shipping back items to the international supplier for warranty repairs/swap out.
If an item has a longer warranty than 1 year then shipping costs back to the international vendor after the first year are for your expense.

All Flir items are special USA imports and include only the export approved models. Certain Flir models may require an export application with the end users details You must register your Flir on flir.com as soon as you receive it for any warranty issues. If your flir has a warranty problem any expense for shipping the unit to Flir is for your account.

Iitems, such as toys and gadgets have a working out the box warranty only.

All software is sealed and any software problems must be dealt with the software publishing compnay direct.
Items sent back to us for repair must be sent in proper protective packaging and in the original box with all supporting documents. Please keep all original boxes and packaging during the warranty period.
All faulty items can be sent to cybertrek, P.O.Box 5921 Rivonia 2128 or can be dropped off at our Midrand offices by arrangement
You must email us first to receive a RMA number and to establish the nature of the fault as many perceived errors can be sorted out with a few basic instructions.

Refunds

We offer a full refund on Items not in stock or available for immediate despatch from our international suppliers.
If an item arrives faulty out the box or has a manufacturer fault within 10 days of delivery we can arrange for a refund excluding the cost of returning the item to the supplier.

We do not offer refunds caused by delays or unforseen circumstances or customs delays
Refunds can take up to 4 weeks to process if the item has to be returned to origin.

We do not issue refunds on returned orders due to "buyers remorse" or "buyers mistake". We will offer store credit for these returns, less restocking fees up to 25%.

Any returned items must be in the original box and in unused condition.

We import most of our items and the official South African distributor of any item we sell is under no obligation to offer any type of warranty or service on any of our products.


Certain items, such as toys, games, bags have no warranty or a working warranty only.
Watches are subject to the manufacturer warranty conditions and generally straps, batteries, glass are not covered under the warranty.

Once again, Please keep all original boxes and packaging during the warranty duration. Under no circumstance can we replace any item that is not returned in its original box with all original contents.

Under no circumstance will we replace/refund any open software.
